Reservation and Cancellation Policy

This policy governs the terms and conditions applicable to bookings made through Xilgar, whether via our official website or through direct communication (email, phone, or instant messaging). By confirming a booking, the client expressly accepts the following conditions:
1. Booking Confirmation
To confirm a booking through Xilgar, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required via bank transfer. This deposit serves as a guarantee of the reservation.
Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance must be paid upon arrival or in accordance with the terms previously agreed with the client.
Once the deposit has been received, Xilgar will send the guest a booking contract including all relevant details of the stay: dates, number of guests, total price, and property information.
2. Cancellation Policy – Standard Rate (refundable)
Bookings made under the standard rate can be cancelled free of charge up to 15 days prior to the check-in date.
If cancellation is made within this period, the deposit will be refunded in full within a maximum of 10 business days from the notice of cancellation.
If cancellation occurs less than 15 days prior to check-in, the deposit will be forfeited, with no refund.
3. Cancellation Policy – Non-refundable Rate (discounted)
Clients who choose the non-refundable rate will receive a 5% discount on the total amount of the stay.
This rate requires full payment at the time of booking.
No cancellations or refunds will be accepted under any circumstance once payment is made.
4. Reservation Modifications
Any request to modify the dates or conditions of a reservation will be subject to availability and must be made with sufficient notice. Xilgar reserves the right to accept or reject changes that significantly alter the initial agreement.
5. No-show Policy
If the client fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, the reservation will be treated as a late cancellation. No refund will be issued, and the accommodation may be made available to other guests.
6. Force Majeure
Xilgar may, at its sole discretion, evaluate the refund of amounts paid when force majeure events are properly documented (e.g. serious illness, legal travel restrictions, etc.). In such cases, the client may be offered a date change at no cost or a credit voucher valid for one year.
7. House Rules and Guest Conduct
In order to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests and neighbors, the following rules must be observed:
- Parties and events are strictly prohibited inside the property.
- Guests must respect quiet hours, especially between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM.
- Pets are not allowed in any of the properties managed by Xilgar.
- The number of guests must not exceed the maximum occupancy established for the property. Unauthorized excess may result in immediate cancellation of the stay with no refund.
- Guests are expected to use the facilities, furniture, and equipment responsibly. Any damages must be reported and may be subject to additional charges.
- At check-out, the property must be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness and order.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the property unless explicitly permitted in designated areas.
Violation of any of these rules may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund, and Xilgar reserves the right to seek compensation for any damages or losses caused.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a reservation, the client declares to have read, understood, and fully accepted this Reservation and Cancellation Policy, as well as the specific conditions of the booked property.
